Enriched Architecture Description Modeler

Based on IEEE1471 principles, OMG Motivation, MOF. Files are stored using in XML using XMI 2.0 format.

Download: Community version 0.1.0, ZIP 11MB

Installation:

  1. Download ZIP file into installation directory
  2. Unzip files into runtime directory
  3. Start application by clicking on iee1471_appl.exe icon.
  4. Create a new Project by menu “File/Other” and select “Simple/Project”. Then enter choosen project name.
  5. Create a new IEEE1471 Model through menu “File/Other” and select “Domainspecific Model / IEEE1471 Model”. Then enter choosen name of model and select the project the model should be part of.
    note: File prefix must be “*.ieee1471”
  6. Parts of the model may be added using meny “IEEE1471 Editor” or  simply through rightclick popupup menu. Traditional copy, paste, cut,delete, undio,redo are supported.

User interface:

The user interface is divided into three parts: Editor view in the middle, an outline view and a detailed properties view. Names and texts are entered through the properties view.
